The Lamprey River Big Tree Tour

In 2013, a Small Grant was awarded to Kevin Martin to create a brochure about the big trees along the Lamprey River. The tour provides maps and directions so that visitors can view some of the state and county champion trees that help to make the Lamprey wild and scenic. "The Lamprey River Big Tree Tour" is part of a larger project. Kevin's book, Big Trees of New Hampshire, published in 2014, offers suggestions and directions for short hikes to see many of New Hampshire's best trees. It is available for purchase at local book stores and at www.enfielddistribution.net. Copies are also available at local libraries.
