LRAC Studies

The Lamprey River Advisory Committee strives to make sound decisions based on data that are both germane to the region and that are specific to the Lamprey. As the largest contributor of fresh water to the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and due to its proximity to the University of New Hampshire, the Lamprey is among the best studied rivers in the region.

The committee makes use of studies undertaken by other groups, but it also commissions studies that are of particular relevance to the Lamprey. Some of these studies seek new understanding, while others are undertaken as follow-ups to previous work.
