Land Conservation

One of the important activities of the Lamprey River Advisory Committee is land protection.  In collaboration with other conservation organizations and Lamprey River municipalities, the LRAC has helped to protect 2668 acres along the rivere in 35 conservation projects since 1999. Maps of these protected areas are available at the LRAC's office in Durham. The committee hopes to have these available to view on this website soon. In the meantime, if you wish to view these maps, please contact the committee to make an appointment or ask to have the maps brought to a convenient location for viewing.
